Description
Full bottle 1,590 g. 65% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay on limestone from Verzy and Verzenay based on 2022s, partly vinified in oak, with older wines from their réserve perpétuelle begun in 2011. Disgorged February 2025 with a dosage of 4 g/l.
Pale honey colour. Very rich, alluring nose. This doesn't smell as young as it is! Creamy texture but with lots of acidity. I'd ideally wait a year for that acidity to settle down but it's a very well made wine with a honeyed character. Certainly not aggressively Extra Brut.
