Historical XIX Century Wine, Château Palmer (L20.17)

The Historical XIXth Century Wine Lot 20.17 release is a blend of 47% Merlot, 43% Cabernet Sauvignon from plots within the Château Palmer estate to which around 10% Syrah from the northern Rhône is added. The label legally cannot state a vintage as a vin de table, so instead they rely on the microscopic font on the front label and in the case of Lot 20.17. This is a rare and special wine that is made with the same expert care and attention the Grand vin sees and production is tiny.
