2020 Bourgogne Blanc, Camille Giroud, Burgundy

This is a blend of generic wines from Meursault and Chassagne-Montrachet, with additions from Mercurey and the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune. About half is from organic sources. The wine is aged in 228-litre Burgundy barriques as well as 300- and 600-litre vessels. This is very well composed, neat and fresh, with a twist of lime citrus on the finish. Drink 2022-2028.
