2018 Le Marquis de Calon Ségur, St Estèphe, Bordeaux

There is still work in progress in the vineyards here, and the aim is to plant more Cabernet Sauvignon and at a higher density. As a result, Merlot has the slight majority in this blend, but there are still some classic mineral and graphite notes before the palate eases into a pleasingly open-textured finish. Drink 2025-2035.

Blend: 53% Merlot, 47% Cabernet Franc
