2013 ル・カリヨン・ド・ランジェリュス、サン・テミリオン

Light cherry-red in colour, this reflects the lighter style of the vintage that they have worked with, rather than against, showcasing their winemaking skills. Although only approaching six years old, this is limbering up to be ready to drink, offering brambly red fruits with gentle spice, kissed by the toasted cedar gloss of 15 months in barrel. It has slightly more evident acidity than the other wines in the line up due to rainy conditions during harvest, but it's impressive and appetising.
