Champagne Penet-Chardonnet’s Les Champs Saint Martin Blanc de Noirs is of the highest class. Grapes are sourced from a tiny north-east facing plot in Verzenay, renowned for producing wines with a complex and expressive character. The gentle mousse envelops notes of white flower, plum, orange peel, and red peppercorn. The wine spent eight years on lees. Drink now – 2035.
