The 2021 vintage of the Guinevere Chardonnay was sourced from the estate's Boot Hill Vineyard in Kent. Pressed whole bunch and fermented in barriques before ageing for ten months in French oak (20% new). A savoury, spiced nose reveals notes of butter and golden apple. The palate has great salinity and freshness, with lemon curd and more ripe apple fruits. Concentrated and poised, leading to additional layers of roasted hazelnuts towards the long finish.
