Penet-Chardonnay is a producer with 400 years of history in Champagne. They own 6 hectares of vineyards in the northeastern end of the Montagne de Reims, spanning the Grand Cru towns of Verzy and Verzenay. They take an organic approach to cultivation, and even the standard champagne is produced after a long secondary fermentation period in the bottle, which gives it a very refined taste. In addition, the best vineyards are released as single lieu-dit vintage champagnes. This time, we will be hosting a winemaker's dinner at Héritage by Kei Kobayashi in Roppongi, Tokyo, with the owner, Alexandre Penet. Enjoy the marriage of great food and champagne, including single lieu-dits and prestige cuvées, while listening to his passion and philosophy for winemaking.
