2020年のグラン・マルベック Xは、ウコ・ヴァレーのロス・アルボレスに位置する畑のブドウを使用し、フレンチオークの新樽比率20％で12か月間熟成されています。色調は濃いダークパープル。香りには、山のハーブや完熟プラム、太陽をたっぷり浴びたブドウを思わせるニュアンスが広がり、オーク由来の風味が背景に上品に溶け込んでいます。味わいは豊潤で、みずみずしさを感じさせるジューシーな印象。きめ細かく反応の良いタンニンとふくよかなテクスチャーが、ヴェルヴェットのようになめらかな口当たりを生み出し、熟した果実の風味が長く持続します。温暖な年の個性を見事に表現した、完成度の高い仕上がりのワインです。

The 2020 Gran Malbec X comes from Los Arboles in the Uco Valley and was aged for 12 months in 20% new French oak barrels. Dark purple in hue. The nose presents enticing aromas of mountain herbs, ripe plums and hints of sun-kissed grapes against an oaky backdrop. The palate is indulgent, with an almost juicy character. The finely-grained, reactive tannins and plush texture create a velvety mouthfeel that delivers plenty of lasting ripe fruit flavour. This wine is a well-executed take on a warm year. A firm and well-framed Malbec with aromas of walnuts, blackberries, mulberries, tea leaves and dark chocolate. Full-bodied yet classy and not at all heavy, with firm, tight tannins and layers of just-ripe dark fruit and dark spice. Long, focused and sophisticated. Better from 2025
